OCNなどOP25B対策を行っているプロバイダを利用しており、ローカルサーバでMTAにPostfixであれば以下のようなエラーでメールを送信できませんでした。

 Dec 12 14:07:05 localhost postfix/smtp[4499]: 4A32523C35: to=<user@example.com>, relay=none, delay=2173, delays=2142/0.03/30/0, dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (connect to example.com[192.168.0.0]:25: Connection timed out)

OCNのSMTPサーバをrelayすれば送信可能となるみたいですが、今回はグローバル側に自サーバがあるので、こちらのSMTPを利用して送信します。

 # vi /etc/postfix/main.cf

 relayhost = [example.com]:587
 smtp_sasl_auth_enable = yes
 smtp_sasl_mechanism_filter = cram-md5 # plain とか
 smtp_sasl_password_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/example_passwd
 smtp_sasl_security_options = noanonymous
 smtp_sasl_tls_security_options = noanonymous
 smtp_use_tls = yes
IPv6を無効にした方が良いかもしれない。
 #inet_protocols = all
 inet_protocols = ipv4

 # vi /etc/postfix/example_passwd

 [example.com]:587 user@example.com:password

 # postmap /etc/postfix/example_passwd

これで同階層に example_passwd.db ファイルが生成されます。

Postfixを再起動して、メール送信ができればOKです。

 warning: SASL authentication failure: No worthy mechs found
 SASL authentication failed; cannot authenticate to server example.com[192.168.0.0]: no mechanism available

のようなエラーメッセージがメールログに出力されている場合はパッケージが足りていない可能性があります。

 # yum install cyrus-sasl-plain cyrus-sasl-md5
